Prof. Nigel Shadbolt, one of the principal investigators of the project, will be the keynote speaker at ESSIR (European Summer School on Information Retrieval) in Koblenz on 29 August 2011.

Tope Omitola, a Research Fellow on the project, visited the University of Chile between 20th July to 5th Aug 2011. He gave a talk on 3rd Aug 2011 at the University of Chile, Santiago, on Linked Data Research on the EnAKTing project, titled: " Linked Data Research on the EnAKTing project at the University of Southampton".
